(a) The Hirer and any Authorised Driver must have a valid licence to drive the Vehicle which is issued in an Australian state or territory or an international licence (with a valid International Driving Permit in English if the language on your licence is not in English).

(b) have not had your driver’s licence cancelled or suspended within the last three years

Age limits - The Hirer and any Authorised Driver must be at least 25 and not over 75 years of age and have no less than 12 months driving experience

Copies of the Hirer's driving licence and one other form of ID must be provided

Vehicle is handed over and returned  in Perth - Fremantle or City Beach. If you are travelling to the South West, you may wish to get the fast train to Mandurah where we are based and we will pick you up from the Station. This would enable you to avoid the busy City Freeway which can become congested.

Standard Damage cover is included in the Rental Charges. A Security Bond of AU$5,000 will be taken as a pre-authorisation on Your credit card as a security for the performance of any of The Hirer’s obligations and liabilities under the Rental Contract. If there is no damage the Bond is released with no charges.

The Hilux Dual Cabs can seat five adults. Extra Cab Hilux vehicles seat four people and have jump seats in the rear. Two rooftop tents can make a vehicle heavy and relatively unstable. If your party is more than two travelers we can provide easy setup off the ground double cot tents.

Two large NEW UNUSED adult sleeping bags rated to -2 deg C are provided that can be zipped together to form a large doona if needed. These can be kept if you wish. Additional adult sleeping bags and kids sleeping bags can be provided at cost. Pillows, shower and beach towels are also provided.

State of the art Garmin Tread 2 Overland navigation equipment is in each vehicle plus a hardcopy Hema Maps Atlas so you shouldn't get lost. Spot 2-way Satellite Messaging devices are also in the vehicles which can be used for worldwide text communication or in the event of any emergency outside of mobile coverage. Personal Texts are charged at US 25 cents. First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher in vehicles. Two spare tyres, recovery equipment and jump starter.

Minimum hire period is 8 days

Child restraints are only available in Hilux Dual Cab vehicles.

Drivers are legally responsible for ensuring that children are suitably restrained in a vehicle:

• Aged 0 to 6 months - restrained in a rear-facing child restraint (e.g. infant capsule).
• Aged 6 months to under 4 years are restrained in either a rear or forward-facing child restraint with in-built harness.
• Aged 4 years to under 7 years seated in either a forward-facing child seat or booster seat restrained by a fastened seatbelt or child safety harness.
